200 - 300 sq. ft. per gallon

EXTERIOR:

Treatment of canvas tents and awnings with Fabric Safe for canvas, gives excellent protection against ignition, flame spread and afterglow. Fabric Safe fire retardant forms a barrier which inhibits ignition of the treated material and restricts the char to the immediate area touched exposed to flame. Fabric Safe for canvas is a water-based, clear, odorless and non-toxic fire retardant. All surfaces to be treated must be clean.

Due to the vast variety of textiles and fabrics, it is important to check for color fastness.      This is done by applying a small amount of fire retardant to an obscure area and letting it dry.

Apply fire retardant as it comes from the container.

DO NOT DILUTE OR MIX FABRIC SAFE WITH ANY OTHER PRODUCTS.

The coverage rate of Fabric Safe 2 fire retardant is 200 to 300 square feet per gallon depending on the type and weight of the material being treated. Fabric Safe, in most instances is applied with a mist applicator. Be sure all materials are dry before applying Fabric Safe 2. Re treatment of the material should be done after 5 years or 200 inches of rain whichever comes first. A water based moisture sealer can be applied after applying Fabric Safe for canvas.

CAUTION:

Product must not freeze. It MUST NOT be thinned or diluted.

OVERSPRAY:

The overspray will not harm plants or animals. Spills can be flushed with water. A rag wetted with bleach and water mix will clean up spotting.

CLEAN UP PROCEDURE:

           1. Run bleach and water mix through spray mist applicator for cleaning any residue.
